Como apagar , suspender o hibernar windows desde CMD

Apagar
shutdown -s -t 1
nota: este comando tiene una interfaz gráfica que permite programar los apagados incluso de varias máquinas a la vez. Para eso hay que ejecutar  shutdown -i
Reiniciar
shutdown -r -t 1
Hibernar
rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState Hibernate
Terminar un procoeso
taskkill /F /IM emule.exe
taskkill /F /IM outlook.exe

como arreglar los problemas de touchpad en HP mini 210

I don't know whether this will help, Jamie, but I was having problems with the touchpad on my HP dm4 until I found this solution at http://photonymous.blogspot.com/2010/02/dual-booting-hp-mini-210-hd-with.html

> sudo su
> echo options psmouse proto=exps > /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse.modprobe
> reboot

It worked for me in both Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

As someone who's relatively new to Linux, I always enjoy your blog. I'm thinking about trying one of the rolling releases after reading your posts about them (it's frustrating when months go by with only old versions of the apps I use available in the official software repositories), but am a bit concerned that if an update breaks something, my thus-far very limited linux command-line skills will leave me thrashing about.

En breve lo corrijo , solo es para tenerlo aca :)

probado en linux mint 12 :)
